Conventions

Whenever people gather together to discuss issues, whether from particular professions, organizations, companies or geographies, Caption First is able to provide access for people who are deaf or hard of hearing as well as for those people whose native language is not English.

Realtime Captioning provides Communication Access and full participation by merging realtime text with your event video. When merging text with the video, two or three lines of text are inserted by a caption encoder either as closed or open (always visible) captions. The captioned video is displayed on monitors, projection screens, televisions and/or through the Web. Onsite or remote captioners provide the realtime text and the audio is heard through a phone line or VoIP.
