Conventions
Captioning and CART are two of the acceptable ways to provide access to the spoken word for all convention attendees who are deaf or hard of hearing. CART and captioning are deemed to be reasonable accommodations under the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). By recording the event with closed captions, long after the convention Is over, people will be able to view and benefit from the video
